The County of Merced proposes to consolidate its administrative facilities in downtown Los Banos by constructing a new office building on I Street across from the existing county courthouse building, and a new 150-space parking structure adjacent to both buildings. The project would consolidate county functions, relieve current overcrowding and accommodate project growth in employment by about 106 employees between 2005-06 and 2010.
