Document Description
Construct a 600-foot wide paved access road from Sonora Road to Knights Ferry School to provide one-way traffic access from the school onto Sonora Road, and to improve an existing parking lot. Currently, access to the Knights Ferry School is via a 14-foot wide paved Dent Street that handles two-way traffic. For school traffic only, Dent Street will be utilized one-way ingress to the school. The new access road will provide one-way egrees from the school to Sonora Road. For non-school related traffic, Dent Street will continue to handle two-way traffic in order to maintain this existing access to residential properties. The new access road will reduce school related traffic including buses on Dent Street by approximately 50%. Consequently, traffic circulation and safety will be improved.
