Present Land Use
The site is relatively flat. There is a broad, shallow swale existing at the center of the site. The site is covered with native and introduced grasses; the southern perimeter has an existing windrow of trees. There are no other existing trees and no tree removal is proposed. The site is undeveloped and has been used in the past for growing hay for animal feed. Adjacent land uses include vacant open space, i.e. pastureland, and a few scattered single family residences along Airport Road.
Document Description
A minor subdivision of an approximate 14.98-acre parcel into the three parcels of approximately 5 acres. The parcels will be served by on-site sewage disposal systems. The applicant proposes to use city water subject to LAFCO approval, or to develop on-site wells. A common detention basin is proposed on resultant Parcel 1 as required by the County Land Use Division. All parcels will be accessed via Airport Road.
