The project involves the development and cultivation of at 640 acres of fodder crop on leased by District No. 20 from Los Angeles World Airports at the Palmdale Regional Airports at the Palmdale Regional Airport. The District will select a farmer to cultivate fodder crops and dispose of undisinfected secondary effluent from the Palmdale Water Reclamation Plant using a minimum of four center-pivots irrigation systems.
