CDFG is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1601 (SAA #6-2002-028) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The applicant proposes to remove the majority of beaver dams on the Lower Owens River from the Billy Lake return ditch to the Owens River Delta.
