Document Description
The operator proposes to remove Pierce's Disease host plants along 800 feet of Arroyo Seco Creek at 21115 Hyde Road in Sonoma, Sonoma County, and to replant with local native species. Himalayan blackberry, vinca, and mugwort grow in dense patches along both banks of Arroyo Seco Creek and will be removed to prevent Pierce's Disease from spreading. These plants are host to the blue-green sharpshooter, the main vector of Pierce's Disease. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0886 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
