Document Description
The erosion site on the southeast side of the vineyard. A large stand of Bay Laurel trees slid into the channel. Further bank failure, including stream scour, have further de-stabilized the slope. Repair plans call for placement of 80 cubic yards of natural rock to buttress the unstable slope, and provide an erosion-resistentflow path. The root wad will be left in place, and rock will be keyed into the channel invert elevation at the downstream end. Native trees and shrubs will be planted, as per NRCS specifications in the general area of the slide. A total of 1.0 acres will be replanted, including all irrigation, weed control, and plant protection necessary for successfull establishment and maintenance of growth. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0450 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
