Document Description
This project involves the repair of the bank of an un-named tributary to the San Lorenzo River along Highway 9, mileage marker 4.83 in the area of Tollhouse Crossing, Santa Cruz County. The repair will involve approximately 70 feet of bank at the top of bank widening to approximately 200 feet at the toe of the bank. The section of the bank has been sliding into the tributary, causing failure of the Highway and the deposition of sediment into the tributary stream. The US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service believe the project will have beneficial impacts on stream resources.
