Document Description
The purpose is to reinstate, pursuant to Section 33333.2 (a) (4) of the Community Redevelopment Law, the twelve year time limit on the commencement of eminent domain proceedings to acquire property for future redevelopment within the Amendment Area. The proposed Amendment will permit the Commission to assemble parcels for future development that may not have been otherwise possible in the absence of employment of the powers granted under redevelopment law.
