Document Description
The project site is located in Humboldt County in the McKinleyville area on the West side of Central Avenue, approximately at the West End of Heartwood Drive on property known as Miller Estate (aka Central Estates). The project is for approval of a tentative final map for the phased subdivision of a 45.9 acre parcel, and a request for a zone reclassification of a portion of the project area (33 lots) from Residential Multi-Family (R-3) to Residential Two-Family (R-2). The initial phase will involve the creation of sixty-four (64) parcels ranging from 5,709 square feet to 12,678 square feet in size and a remainder of 31.2 acres. All parcels to be served by community water and sewer. A preliminary ultimate development plan has been submitted for development of the remainder with up to 468 dwelling units.
