Document Description
The proposed project would make improvements to the existing Recycling and Salvage Program (RASP) facility at the Centinela State Prison. The project would construct a new covered work area for recycling, and would install sorting tables, a compactor, and new vertical baler. The new work area would be located to the west of the existing RASP. The project also includes a new inmate restroom and sewer line which will connect to the existing sewer system. The project is needed in order to improve the prison's recycling efforts, thereby reducing landfill waste produced by the existing inmate population.
