Document Description
Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District (HBMWD) currently manages and maintains three water lines that run the length of the North (Samoa) spit of Humboldt Bay. Windy conditions and shifting sands have exposed the buried lines in four locations. In order to prevent the rupturing of the water lines, the HBMWD must take sand from adjacent dunes and cover the pipelines to a minimum depth of four feet.
