Document Description
The CA Dept. of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Sec. 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, the Co. of Monterey, represented by Doug Poochigian. The applicant proposes to replace the existing Schulte Road Bridge, which is 190-ft. long and spans the Carmel River. The bridge does not meet current Caltrans seismic, structural, and geometric standards and, because it is a one-lane bridge, does not meet the level of service for the two-lane road approaching the crossing.
