Document Description
The Riverside County Waste Management Department is proposing to revise/renew the Solid Waste Facility Permit for the Desert Center Sanitary Landfill. Revisions include the increase in peak daily tonnage from 16 to 60, and a change of operating days and hours. In a separate action, the Department has intiated the process to transfer the ownership of the Desert Landfill property from the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to the Department.
