Document Description
Install communications devices at five locations on Interstate 5 in Siskiyou County. The devices will consist of highway advisory radios, changeable message signs and traffic monitoring stations. The project is a cooperative effort between Caltrans, the Federal Highway Administrations and the Oregon Department of Transportation. The purpose of the project is to enhance traffic management capabilities during adverse weather conditions and traffic situations. Work will consist of trenching for underground electrical conduit, installation of utility poles, and installation of various support equipment.
