Document Description
The proposed project will remove accumulated sediment, debris and vegetation from the Branciforte Creek flood control channel. Accumulated sediment has reduced the flood carrying capacity of the concrete box channel. Operations will be carried out during the late summer-fall dry season using a small loader in the dry channel bed or a loader-crane from the service road above the channel. Debris will be loaded into trucks or large drop boxes, and then transported to the City Landfill. The operation is expected to be completed within 5 working days.
