Document Description
The Tisdale Bypass South Levee was damaged during the "El Nino" floods in winter and spring of 1998. Proposed repairs will restore the levee integrity with an underground rock drain covered with a berm of levee fill material to control seepage. After construction is complete, the levee slope and berm will be hydroseeded with an herbaceous seed mix and the shoreline of the adjacent water supply canal will be revegetated with tules to restore the preconstruction vegetative conditions. No significant adverse environmental impacts are anticipated.
