Document Description
WEST BELL GROUP L.L.C IS CURRENTLY PROPOSING TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A 189 TABLE CARD CLUB AND ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY IN THE CITY OF BELL. THE DEVELOPMENT WILL CONSIST OF A SINGLE BUILDING WITH A TOTAL FLOOR AREA OF 124134 SQUARE FEET AND AN EIGHT LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE. THE CASINO BUILDING WILL BE SITUATED IN THE NORTHERLY PORTION OF THE SITE, WITH THE ENTRIES ORIENTED TOWARDS THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST. THESE ENTRYWAYS WILL PROVIDE PRIMARY ACCESS INTO THE PACIFIC CASINO FROM THE SURFACE PARKING AREA LOCATED TO THE SOUTH. OTHER ENTRIES WILL PROVIDE PRIMARY ACCESS INTO THE PACIFIC CASINO FROM THE SURFACE PARKING AREAS LOCATED TO THE SOUTH. OTHER ENTRIES WILL PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE 8 LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE WHICH IS CONNECTED TO THE EAST SIDE OF THE MAIN CASINO STRUCTURE. IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN GAMING AREA, THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN FEATURES AN ASSORTMENT OF RESTAURANTS, A HEALTH SPA, SUPPORTING RETAIL USES, AND OFFICES. THE PROJECT WILL ALSO INVOLVE BOTH THE EXTENSION OF LINDBERGH LANE SOUTH TO THE PROJECT SITE AND THE EXTENTION OF EITHER MANSFIELD WAY OR RICKENBACKER ROAD WEST FROM THEIR CURRENT TERMINUS AT EASTERN AVENUE TO THE PROJECT SITE. USES WITHIN THE CASINO BUILDING WILL INCLUDE THE MAIN GAMING AREA, ADMINISTRATION, CAGE AND OFFICE AREA, FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE AREAS, RETAIL AREA, HEALTH CLUB/SPA, AND OTHER AREAS CONSISTING OF THE MEZZANINE LEVEL, HALLWAYS, REST ROOMS, STORAGE, ETC. THE PARKING STRUCTURE AND SURFACE PARKING LOT WILL CONTAIN A TOTAL OF 2106 PARKING SPACES. THE SURFACE PARKING LOT WILL BE LOCATED TO THE SOUTH AND WEST OF THE CASINO BUILDING.
