Document Description
The project includes rehabilitating nine of eleven constructed lakes in Golden Gate Park. The lakes will be drained, wetland innoculum removed and stored. The clay lines will be removed and disposed of off site. The lakes will be excavated and the banks reconfigured. The lake will be lined with clay and the inflow plumbing repaired as necessary. New culverts will be installed at each lake outflow. Revegetation will occur after lake rehabilitation is complete. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0516 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Shannon Maloney/City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works.
