APPLICATION 29456 SEEKS TO APPROPIATE 40 ACRE-FT OF WATER PER ANNUM, THROUGH DIRECT DIVERSION OF VAN GORDON CREEK UNDERFLOW. THE POD'S ARE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 200 AND 350 FT WEST OF VAN GORDON CREEK SURFACE FLOW. THE APPLICANT PROPOSES TO EXTRACT THE 40 AF OF WATER THROUGH TWO EXISTING WELLS WHICH CURRENTLY SERVE RIPARIAN USES WITHIN THE VAN GORDON CREEK WATERSHED. THE WATER WILL BE DIVERTED AT A RATE 0.134 CUBIC FEET PER SECOND (CFS) AND CONVEYED THROUGH A TWO INCH PIPELINE IN ORDER TO FILL WATER TRUCKS, WHICH WILL THENTRANSPORT WATER FOR USE IN EXISTING DOMESTIC AND INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES. THE PROPOSED SEASON OF DIVERSION IS FORM JANUARY 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31 EACH YEAR. THE POD'S ARE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY TWO MILES NORTH OF THE CITY OF CAMBRIA, CA.
