Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0034-R6 (Revision 1), pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, North Murrieta Community LLC. Golden City (Tracts 28532-5) Routine Maintenance Project includes ongoing routine maintenance of three existing culvert crossings, and a limited buffer surrounding those crossings, within the Golden City development: Thistlewood Avenue, Clearview Street (easterly), and Clearview Street (westerly). Maintenance activities, including sediment removal, vegetation management, minor culvert repair, graffiti removal, and trash and debris removal, will be limited to the areas beneath these three stream crossings (within the culverts), and within a 20-foot section of stream upstream and downstream of each crossing. Sediment removal activities will occur annually, or biannually, and utilize heavy equipment, such as rubber-tired excavators. Vegetation maintenance will be conducted using hand equipment, such as chainsaws, machetes, and loppers. Maintenance activities will occur only when the streambed is dry.
