Document Description
The DJ Farms property consists of approximately 209 acres of land located south of SR 166 and east of SR 1 in the City of Guadalupe. An EIR was previously prepared for the annexation, Specific Plan, and General Plan amendment for the property. The EIR was certified and DJ Farms was annexed to the City in 1995. At the time, the adopted Specific Plan for the area envisioned development of 450 dwelling units and 380,000 sf of commercial and light industrial land phased over a period of approximately 10 years. The Plan has undergone a number of revisions over the past decade. The current project proposes to revise the DJ Farms Specific Plan from the existing land use designation of SP (Specific Plan) to VLDR-4 (Very Low Density Residential), LDR-6 (Low Density Residential), LMDR-7 (Low-Medium Density Residential), HDR-22 (High Density Residential).
